Old Stage Road

The Old Stage Road was used by the Accommodation Stage Coach Line, begun in 1827, that connected passengers and freight from the Ohio River in Cincinnati to the National Road in Springfield Ohio.

There are two historic structures in Waynesville associated with the Accommodation Stage Coach Line: the John Satterthwaite House and the Halloway Inn.
