Harveysburg Friends Meeting began as Grove Preparative Meeting about 1.5 miles south of the town. Once the village was established, the Meetings moved into town—the Orthodox on the west side of town and the Hicksites on the east side. Both Meetings have been laid down, and both burial grounds are now inactive. This building is now re-painted and re-purposed as a residence.
There is an old Quaker cemetery close to this building, and an older one south of town on Oregonia Road.
